She was then delivered to Lake Winnipesaukee for launching and has spent her life here since. The Bluewater’s lower center of gravity is due to the arrangement of the engines and creates a more stable ride. In rough seas, tall boats can act like a sail, catching the wind and causing the boat to roll.  But Bluewater’s unique engine placement gives a lower center of gravity and also minimal side sail effect. Designed as to be a live aboard vessel, the “Manitou” is a spacious vessel both inside and out. In addition, this is an ideal vessel for entertaining and accommodating large groups of people.
