What our customers are saying
I bought a boat from Melissa and all I will say is that she has been absolutely amazing. From start to finish everything was handled well and quick. She was very accommodating to my very demanding requests. I could have not asked for a better service from Fay’s Boat Yard. I would absolutely recommend them and will certainly use them again.
We have been with Fay’s for a few years now. They do a terrific job launching, maintaining and storing our boat.
I cannot say enough good things about Steve, Kyle, and Carla. They are always ready and eager to help you with a smiling face.
I can 100% trust the rack team, Tom, Linda, and the folks at the front desk with all my boating needs; they are always a phone call away from assisting me with any of your boating issues, question.
Tom is very humble, patient, and terrific boating instructor.
Steve, Kyle, and Carla are simply great in managing, maintaining, fixing, launching, storing my boat.
Overall, I am very happy with Fay’s Boat Yard.
Can’t say enough good things about the experience we had yesterday. We went there to use the boat launch to put our boat in for the first time this season. A gentleman named Tom (not sure if he was an employee or not) helped us get the boat off the trailer and tied to the dock. We haven’t done this process many times before so he definitely helped with my anxiety and was a god-send at that point! Then. the boat wouldn’t start. They were nice enough to let us sit on the dock for hours to try and fix the issue. They even sent out one of their mechanics who spent time trying to help, too. They also let us borrow some tools that we were missing and were very helpful in trying to help us diagnose the issue. We were able to determine it was the fuel pump, which they had in stock, and we replaced it and went on our way. THANK YOU to Rick, Steve, and everyone else for being so generous and understanding! Our crappy day could’ve been a lot worse.
This is my first year at Fay’s after buying a Wellcraft from them and to say that I have been impressed would be an understatement. After my first fill up I found that my boat was not taking fuel, some blockage in the system was causing the gas pump to cut out unless you were just dribbling fuel into it. Rick and the team were right on what turned out to be a difficult problem to solve. This marina is a far cry from the “get in line, we’ll get to it when we get to it” mentality at several other marinas around the lake with the bustling economy. It truly speaks to their character and work ethic that every problem is just as important as the next regardless of size, and every problem has a sense of urgency.
