A NASBLA approved “Safe-Boater education Certificate” is REQUIRED by Law.
We provide on-site temporary certificate testing valid for 14 days, with a fee of $20 per test, regardless of the outcome. Please ensure you access the handbook through the links below. It’s essential to have your completed certificate before departure.
Rental Policies
- A 50% rental deposit is required at the time of reservation, plus a service fee. The remaining balance will be charged to the credit card on file, used for the deposit, on the day of the rental.
- A $1500 credit card hold is required as a damage deposit. This hold is placed to cover any potential damage or lost items. If no damage is reported, the hold will be released.
- Renter/operator must be at least 25 years old
- All Boats over 25hp, require a safe boaters certificate
- A “NASBLA” approved “Safe-Boater Education Certificate” is REQUIRED by Law. We offer a temporary certificate test option that is good for 14 days. Cost is $20 per test, pass or fail
- Fuel consumed is the Renter’s responsibility
- Renter is responsible (upon return) for any damage and/or excessive cleaning fees to the boat, including towing & recovery charges.
- Operator must obey NH State Marine laws
- Boats rented overnight must be kept in a safe area
- $125 late fee will be applied for every 1⁄2 hour past return time.
- Morning 1/2 day 8:30am start, return time: 12:00pm
- Afternoon 1/2 day 1:00pm start, return time: 4:30pm
- Full day/weekly start 8:30am, return time: 4:00pm
- Only approved drivers can operate the boat
- No waterskiing, wakeboarding or tubing, etc. permitted
- No operating boat from dusk to dawn
- No pets are allowed on boats, unless being transported to an island rental

Fay’s Cancellation Policy
- If canceled with 72 hours or more notice, you will receive a 100% refund.
- Cancellation or no shows less than 72 hours prior to time of reservations will be charged any rental balance fee due in full.
- If you have a multiple day reservation, you can cancel or modify your reservation 72 hours or more prior to the first day of rental.
- We reserve the right to cancel any rental due to unsafe weather. Only cancellations made by our staff due to unsafe weather conditions will receive a full refund.
Pet Policy
- No pets are allowed on boats, unless being transported to an island rental.
